About us 〰️

our mission

It started with a conversation that many of us have had—lamenting how hard it is to make real friends as adults. We were just two friends talking about the loneliness epidemic and the struggle of meeting people beyond surface-level interactions. We longed for the type of shared, intensive, collaborative experiences that filled our childhood and made it feel easy to make new buddies, whether it was school, extracurriculars, or even... summer camp. That conversation became the spark for Camp Full Moon.

We want camp to be a space where you tap into that feeling of being a kid with no responsibilities and an endless thirst for fun and play. We want you to connect with people while you’re chasing after a soccer ball, hiking up a mountain path, or making a cross-stitch pattern. We want your camp pals to evolve into a community that lasts beyond the limits of a single weekend. And yes, we want you to live your lifelong dream of attending that camp in The Parent Trap - with fewer prank wars, please.

Our camp welcomes all individuals, regardless of race, sex, sexuality, or religion, with a steadfast commitment to inclusivity and respect. We will not tolerate racism, sexism, ableism, ageism, homophobia, transphobia, or xenophobia. Our mission is to foster an environment where people who love connecting with others can engage in deep, authentic ways.

Guided by our core pillars—foundations for friendship, living in nature, exploration, and play—we encourage participants to challenge themselves, be fully present, and embrace joy. At Camp Full Moon, you'll meet like-minded people you might not otherwise encounter, stepping outside your everyday routine to experience shared moments that inspire personal growth, forge lasting connections, and renew your love of life.

who we are

Camp Full Moon (CFM) was founded by Colleen and Hannah, best friends for over a decade. As they journeyed through adulthood and life's many experiences, they discovered the profound value that friendship and community added to their lives. Recognizing the importance of these relationships and how difficult it can be to find spaces to create and nurture them in adulthood, they started CFM to bring people together in lasting community.

let’s play.
